Blood relations: anxiety at the borderline of self and other

***(THIS WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED)***

Wednesday 15 September, 9.30am-4.30pm

Presenter: Ben McGill

Of the various symptoms present in the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, what we work with primarily at various levels of treatment is anxiety. Anxiety experienced within the treatment and support services, within families and within ourselves in the wake of whatever our modality of treatment.

How might we work with anxiety at the borderline of the self and other as an effective treatment rather than that which is merely assessed as risk and acted upon for the patient?

A clinical forum to discuss ways of working with anxiety, that is not to believe we can work without or eradicate it but use anxiety as a clinical indicator for the direction of treatment.
