There are a few effective treatments currently available within Spectrum.

Spectrum provides individualised, specialist work to enable people to lead their own meaningful and purposeful lives. We understand that treatment and recovery may look different to everyone.

Treatment goals could include:

  • Prevention of mental health crises, including engagement in self-injury and suicidality.
  • Prevention of hospital admissions.
  • Improvements in quality of interpersonal relationships.
  • Learning and practicing coping skills.
  • Working through personal problems that trigger emotional distress.
  • Attaining employment and occupational goals
  • Improved anger management.
  • Management of physical/mental health co-occurring conditions.
  • Management of problem behaviours.
  • Learning to understand and articulate one's own reality.
