Bendigo partnership
Spectrum will soon be partnering and collaborating with Bendigo Health to deliver a series of workshops aimed at upskilling clinicians in working effectively with individuals experiencing borderline personality disorder (BPD) and their families.
Wed, July 30

Spectrum are excited to embark on a collaboration with Bendigo Health to provide dedicated training programs and post-training support to the area mental health and wellbeing service as well as the local mental health and wellbeing service.
Clinicians will have the opportunity to take part in training program(s), expert supervision with Spectrum staff and a community of practice for those clinicians who have an interest in working with people with BPD.
This collaboration will include trainer(s) from Bendigo Health that will be mentored to deliver the content in order to support sustainability of the project.
Capacity building across Victoria is vital to embedding evidence-based, person‑centered mental health care into everyday practice. By supporting clinicians with training, expert supervision and communities of practice, we enhance workforce confidence, competence and ethical responsiveness — leading to better outcomes for people experiencing BPD and complex difficulties.
If your organisation is interested in commissioning a similar program, we'd love to hear from you. We’re excited to deliver structured training programs and ongoing support tailored to both Area and local mental health and wellbeing services.
Clinicians will have opportunities to participate in targeted training, receive ongoing expert supervision from Spectrum staff, and join a clinician community of practice focused on working with people with BPD. Importantly, trainers will be mentored to deliver the program independently - supporting capacity building within the service and ensuring sustainability into the future.
