Morning Practices for Healing

Spectrum invites you to refer clients to a two-hour working - Morning Practices for Healing, a free, gentle workshop for BPD Awareness Week, supporting those with BPD and C-PTSD.

Mon, Aug 18

We’re deeply grateful to Bronwen, our incredible Lived Experience Consumer, who has taken the initiative to coordinate and lead this empowering event as part of BPD Awareness Week.

Bronwen has thoughtfully designed a free workshop—Morning Practices for Healing—to create a gentle, supportive, and peer-led space for people living with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and complex PTSD.

Are you working with someone who has borderline personality disorder and/or complex trauma? Let them know of this free workshop held at Richmond, Victoria.

Attendees explore how to build a simple 30-minute morning routine that supports emotional regulation and nervous system healing, using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices such as:

  • Yoga
  • Gratitude journaling
  • Mindfulness

Each participant will receive their own journal and yoga mat to help begin (or continue) their healing journey at home.

No prior experience is required—they just need to come as they are, in comfortable clothing, and participate at their own pace. Morning tea will be provided.

This is a beautiful example of lived experience leadership in action. Bronwen's initiative is grounded in compassion and a deep commitment to empower people, create connection, and foster healing.
