It has been another amazing year for workforce development at Spectrum, with an impressive 134 training events provided. The demand for our training
courses remains high and we have had the pleasure of 4,698 people attending our face-to-face and online courses.

Our participant satisfaction rates are incredibly high, which is reflective of our commitment to enhancing the knowledge and skills of mental health and allied health professionals across Victoria and indeed interstate.

Expert trainers

Our trainers come from diverse backgrounds encompassing nursing, psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy and social work.

The trainers’ expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) and Complex Care enriches their teachings with the latest clinical insights, creating an invaluable bridge between theory and practice.

A holistic approach to training is further embodied by our carer and lived-experience consultants, who share their personal journeys, infusing authenticity and empathy into the learning process.

The trainers share a passion for advancing mental health and contributing to the lives of those facing complex challenges. This dedication and expertise has been pivotal in Spectrum’s ongoing training journey.
