Men's Experiences of BPD

The aim of this study was to consult with a panel of men who have lived-experience of personality disorder and have received (or been refused) management by and/or treatment from mental health services. We have used the information shared by participants to make decisions about how we provide psychological services both presently, and in the future.

Clinicians’ Perspectives on Working with Men with PD

Men's mis/underdiagnosis of BPD and Antisocial Personality Disorder may be a consequence of their lower-than-expected engagement with mental health services, and biases within those services. This study aimed to understand how personality disorder can be better identified and supported in clinical and forensic settings.
