Free workshops during BPD Awareness week
This year during BPD Awareness week, a few special workshops will be taking place. Come join us either online or in person to learn more about this condition that is often stigmatised.

Men and borderline personality disorder (BPD)
Understanding not judging
Come join us and hear more about BPD, a complex mental health condition affecting thousands of Australians.
It's not a personal choice or fault - it's a condition of the brain and mind.
People with BPD face a suicide risk 45 times higher than the general population.
Date: 8 October
Time: 12pm to 1pm,
Workshop: Men and Borderline Personality Disorder
This workshop is part of a Project ECHO session. You will therefore need to register for Spectrum's Personality Disorder and Complex Trauma ECHO and then an online link will be sent to you for the actual event above.
You matter too: A workshop for Carers to recharge
Join us for a nurturing two-hour free workshop facilitated by two carer peer workers - Jackie and Rita, as an initiative for families and friends of people living with BPD as part of borderline personality disorder (BPD) awareness week - 1 to 7 October.
The workshop on 1 October will explore the important role of ‘looking after yourself’ and some tools you can use to recharge and enable to maintain a compassionate caring stance.
Whether you're new to caring or been a carer for many years, this free workshop aims to provide a calm and compassionate space to recharge, connect with others, and take care of your own wellbeing. As a part of the session, we will create mandala placemat for you to take home. Mandalas are a creative, meditative tool for reflection and emotional expression.
